By The Church. Just got home from grocery shopping. I was surprised to hear that song on Kroger's in-store music network. It's the only time I've ever heard it outside the movie.

Here's some trivia:
After its release in 1988 it was first heard on the television show "Miami Vice (1984-1990)":
Scene: Trudy meets Carlos (27 min. and 30 sec.) of S5E07 "Miami Vice: Asian Cut (1989)".
It was also played on "Scorpion (2014-2018)":
Final scene of S1E14 "Scorpion: Charades (2015)".
And last, but not least: in 2006, Melbourne, at the XVII Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremonies.
Of course, anyone living in Australia and around, might have heard it then on local radio.

Thanks for the intel, w2w. I missed it in both those shows. It got no airplay that I know of in the States.
