No dia 03 de janeiro de 1962, 4ª feira as 20:05hs, na TV Tupi, canal 4, vai ao ar a série “O Vigilante Rodoviário”, com exibição do episódio piloto “O Diamante Grão Mongol”. Ao longo de 1962 produziram os demais 15 episódios. Todos foram ao ar no mesmo ano.
