相對較少新畫面，除了開場的旁白內容不同(畫面維持與電視動畫不變)，只有兩處新畫面：(一)完場時，緊接地讓普魯修卡(黎明卿波多爾多的養女)提前亮相作結；(二)這個「新」埸景比較有趣，在開場不久與「血口大蛇」之戰中，為了縮減時間，把原本雷古使用了一次「火葬炮」和昏迷期間的情節全部跳過，但為了情節能連接得上，改動了劇情，加入了少量新分鏡(其實「後編」總長比「前編」還短了十多分鐘，根本不必為縮減時間而作此改動)。
將來自深淵第1集到第8集的內容重新剪接並加入了新的畫面。
