Depois de serem abandonados por Christopher Robin, que foi para a faculdade, Pooh e Leitão matam qualquer um que se atreva a se aventurar na Floresta dos Sonhos Azuis.
No último dia de um verão dourado, Cristóvão não tem coragem de contar a Pooh que vai deixar seus amigos para voltar à escola. Ele resolve escrever um bilhete, mas Pooh e sua turma entendem tudo errado e acham que ele está perdido. Assim, Pooh, Leitão, Abel e Tigrão embarcam na maior aventura de suas vidas em busca do garoto.
A história começa quando Leitão desaparece do Bosque dos Cem Acres, porque ouviu que era pequeno demais para ajudar Pooh, Tigrão, Ió, Guru e Coelho a procurar mais mel. Para encontrá-lo, seus amigos tentam achar no seu livro de anotações alguma pista de onde poderia ter ido. Enquanto procuram por Leitão, percebem que ele tinha feito coisas muito importantes durante as aventuras que participaram juntos. Então, quando Pooh se vê em dificuldades, surge o nosso pequeno herói que, com um pouco de sorte, consegue salvar o dia.
