Pimp My Ride

Pimp My Ride is a TV show produced by MTV. Each episode consists of taking one car in poor condition and restoring it, as well as customizing it. The original American version was hosted by rapper Xzibit. Recently, MTV2 has begun airing episodes from Pimp My Ride UK hosted by DJ Tim Westwood, which features cars being customised in the UK, and Pimp My Ride International, featuring cars in central Europe, hosted by hip hop artists Fat Joe and Lil' Jon, as well as the related CMT series Trick My Truck.

Fifth Gear

Fifth Gear is a British motoring television magazine series. Originally shown on Channel 5 from 2002 to 2011 and Discovery since 2012, the show is currently presented by Tiff Needell, Vicki Butler-Henderson, Jason Plato and Jonny Smith. Fifth Gear's rival show is BBC Two's Top Gear.

Fifth Gear was first broadcast on 8 April 2002 as 5th Gear, and as a continuation of the original incarnation of the BBC show Top Gear, which was cancelled in 2001. Top Gear was relaunched later that year; Channel 5 originally wanted to carry on using the Top Gear name, but the BBC refused. Several of Top Gear's ex-presenters, including Quentin Willson, Tiff Needell, and Vicki Butler-Henderson were hired by Channel 5 to present Fifth Gear. The show was renamed as Fifth Gear in 2005.

Repeats of Fifth Gear also started being broadcast on UKTV channel, Dave in April 2008 and later on Discovery Turbo.

Jay Leno's Big Dog Garage is located in Burbank, California, near Bob Hope Airport. In 2011 the show won a Primetime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Special Class — Short-Format Nonfiction Program". It is distributed by NBC Entertainment's digital division.

Top Gear's James May presents this 3 part series which takes a look at the 'peoples car'. Covering every form of cars for the masses - from the Beetle to the Kei Car, May looks at the many forms of people's car, their origins and their effect on history. Each episode covers a particular theme; these being cars from dictatorships, microcars and the dream cars we aspire to.

Carpocalypse was a TV show on Spike TV that focused on the daily drama of how a motley crew of crash addicted racers join together to compete in some of the craziest races ever caught on tape. It premiered on March 5, 2005. The show is based on races held twice a year at Orlando Speedworld's Crash-A-Rama series.

My Classic Car is a television show about classic automobiles, hosted by Dennis Gage. It was originally broadcast on TNN, and Speed Channel. MAVtv currently airs the show and Velocity will also air the show starting in 2014. It was produced by MadStache, who also created Popular Hot Rodding Television, Corbin’s Ride On and Texas Hardtails.

The host of the show, Dennis Gage, is known for his seemingly boundless enthusiasm, his trademark handlebar moustache and the catchphrase with which he ends every episode, "Honor the timeless classics."

The series features major classic automobile shows and collections, usually in the United States but occasionally in other countries, including Canada and the United Kingdom. Some episodes focus on celebrities and prolific car collectors such as talk show host Jay Leno. Every episode also features a segment now sponsored by Autogeek Garage, a source for auto detailing supplies, car wax, car care products, car polishes, auto accessories, polishers, and car detailing tools.

Dennis Gage resides in Evansville, Indiana, with his wife. He has three children; two daughters, and a son who may be seen biking with him in the Trippin' On Two Wheels TV travel series.
