A summery love triangle unfolds on the Egelund estate. The landowner Sprange’s daughter Else and the painter Bolt are secretly engaged and enjoying their romance when the idyllic state of affairs is suddenly disrupted by the arrival of Arthur v. Patachon has caught the inventing bug and wants to come up with smokeless and noiseless gunpowder. All the while, Pat becomes increasingly worried about his friend. Two shady gentlemen are now attempting to steal the valuable drawings for the television invention, and Pat and Patachon become suspects in the case. Tommy is bright and good-looking and he attracts the notice of a lady in a London slumming party. While she is talking to him, he steals her watch and chain. The loss is discovered and the police get on Tommy's track. A pal warns him. He pawns the watch and gets out of London. Wandering off into the country he is met by a tramp who, seeing him count over the money, takes it from him and knocks him down. He is left half dead beside the road. Captain Barnacle and Bunce, driving home from the village, find the waif and Barnacle takes him home. Ruth bandages his wounds and gives him food and they let him sleep on a couch in the kitchen. He attempts to steal some old silver of the captain's. He is discovered and the captain is going to cast him out, when Ruth pleads for him and the captain resolves to give him another chance.

Although the twins Flora and Dora attend the School of Sculpture, their real calling lies in gymnastics. They decide to open an “Institute of Strength and Beauty”, which does not go down well with Uncle Brown, who finances their numerous business adventures. After a bit of an odyssey, which includes coming across a bunch of mermaids, a fat little dog, and a pretty housekeeper with mischievous eyes, the Spidsmejers luckily get their promised roast hare. Spirits are always high at the quayside pub The Red Rabbit. One day, adventurers Fy and Bi come by to look for work. Their luck is in! A police raid sends all the staff to prison. On the spur of the moment, two women from the upper-middle class decide to study the life of the common people by paying them a visit. A brawl ensues, and Fy and Bi chivalrously bring the two women to safety – or so they think! Hans and Elinor are in love, but have to meet clandestinely to avoid the keen eyes of the headmistress at the home for girls where Elinor lives. When they are discovered, they seek refuge in a Chinese gazebo used by the vagabonds Pat and Patachon as a cheap summer residence. However, the two vagabonds quickly vacate the premises to let the young couple stay there. As a thank you, Hans, who is a sailor, enrols Long and Short as part of the crew on his rich uncle’s boat and invites the entire girls’ institute and its headmistress on a sailing trip. In disguise, Hans hopes to spend some time with Elinor, but once again they fail to deceive the headmistress. Long and Short now come upon the idea of hiring a brickworks, whose owner turns out to be Elinor’s uncle. But mysterious things happen at the factory, which does not make entirely ordinary bricks, and Long and Short find themselves caught up in yet another heady drama. (stumfilm.dk)

A humorous traffic film in which the sinners of traffic are marked with large white crosses. Mr Statistics, in the form of a mysterious man, crosses out the most common traffic offenses by designating the pedestrians, cyclists or motorists in question. The film was shot in Aarhus.

Filming of actor Thorkild Roose in some of his greatest theatrical roles: as Delescluze in "The Defeat" (Nordahl Grieg) and as Cardinal Gonzaga de Castro in "The Cardinals' Dinner" (Julio Dantas). In addition, well-known actors such as Tove Maës, Johannes Meyer and Palle Huld are also seen.

Fyrtårnet og Bivognen (aka Pat und Patachon) enter movies - in more ways than one. This was the first one pairing Carl Schenstrøm & Harald Madsen for what became a popular and long-lasting comic duo.

Nikolajsen is shocked by the news that he has an adult daughter who lives in Jutland – where wild wolves wander! His friends – the baker, the butcher, the tailor and the shoemaker – are entranced by the honour and glory they would gain by venturing forth and exterminating the feral wolves. Unfortunately for their chances of success, Nikolajsen and Co. decide to hire Pat and Patachon as their hunting guides. The poor landowner Don Quixote is obsessed with chivalric romances. One day he gets the idea that he must restore the order of the wandering knights and even ride out on horseback in full gear. He persuades a simple peasant Sancho Panza to act as a weapon bearer with a promise of royal rewards.
