A summery love triangle unfolds on the Egelund estate. The landowner Sprange’s daughter Else and the painter Bolt are secretly engaged and enjoying their romance when the idyllic state of affairs is suddenly disrupted by the arrival of Arthur v. The loss is discovered and the police get on Tommy's track. A pal warns him. He pawns the watch and gets out of London. Wandering off into the country he is met by a tramp who, seeing him count over the money, takes it from him and knocks him down. He is left half dead beside the road. Captain Barnacle and Bunce, driving home from the village, find the waif and Barnacle takes him home. Ruth bandages his wounds and gives him food and they let him sleep on a couch in the kitchen. He attempts to steal some old silver of the captain's. He is discovered and the captain is going to cast him out, when Ruth pleads for him and the captain resolves to give him another chance.
Spirits are always high at the quayside pub The Red Rabbit. One day, adventurers Fy and Bi come by to look for work. Their luck is in! A police raid sends all the staff to prison. On the spur of the moment, two women from the upper-middle class decide to study the life of the common people by paying them a visit. A brawl ensues, and Fy and Bi chivalrously bring the two women to safety – or so they think! A humorous traffic film in which the sinners of traffic are marked with large white crosses. Mr Statistics, in the form of a mysterious man, crosses out the most common traffic offenses by designating the pedestrians, cyclists or motorists in question. The film was shot in Aarhus.

Nikolajsen is shocked by the news that he has an adult daughter who lives in Jutland – where wild wolves wander! After a bit of an odyssey, which includes coming across a bunch of mermaids, a fat little dog, and a pretty housekeeper with mischievous eyes, the Spidsmejers luckily get their promised roast hare.
