Extra Details: I would suggest, to change the German title into "Ringu Filmreihe" to prevent confusion with the US-remake(s) like it is mentioned in the overview, also an (english) article ahead is not used in any german title of the Japanese movies.

I agree the German collection name is not ideal. However, it looks like the film was released as "Ring - Das Original" in Germany. Would "Ring (Original) Filmreihe" work?

Another idea would be using "Ring Filmreihe" since it is the original, the US-remake could be treated as "Ring (US -Remake) Filmreihe"?
