A mistake that was never reported by the entry's contributors. Moderators can't check all entries all the time, only what we contribute to and what is reported to us.
It indeed does have continuous episode numbers. Thank you for the heads up. The anime has been added to out list of anime that need to be merged and it will be done at a later date.

I mean maybe the rule about continuous episode is not suitable for all anime.
Do staffs have any plan to update rules for anime?

for example, different season usually doesn't use continuous blu-ray&DVD volume number, this is also a way to help people to recognize if they are one season or two. I think this should be one of the bases of judgment.

Not that I'm aware.
While we have specific anime rules, anime, just like other TV shows, are bound by how they are originally released, not how it releases on Blu-ray/DVD, unless it's an OVA. OVA's have their own sub-rules as part of our anime-specific rules.
There is an episode group that splits the episodes into seasons.

It is a very rigid practice to focus only on if the number of episodes are continuous. Just imagine that TMDB classifies the part officially called the 2nd season into the 1st season. Isn't it contradictory?
