One night, Amemura Shinsuke, a bartender at a Nishi Azabu bar in Tokyo, is attacked by a male stranger and loses a part of his memories. However, he soon learns that he caused the death of a woman called Kishinaka Minae in a traffic accident one and a half years ago. And the man who came to attack him and later committed suicide, was her husband Reiji. For some reason, Shinsuke is frequently advised by the people around him that it is better not to recall bad things. He begins to have misgivings about the truth of the accident. Then when Shinsuke returns to the bar on one rainy night, Ruriko, a woman in mourning clothes and of unwordly beauty, shows up all of a sudden. From the time of her appearance, Shinsuke descends into a world of madness and anguish. Does she truly exist or is she a figment of imagination conjured by a guilty conscience?

西麻布のバー・茗荷のバーテンダー、雨村慎介（三浦春馬）はある夜、男に襲われ一部の記憶を失ったが、やがて自分が１年半前に交通事故を起こし、ある女性を死なせてしまっていたこと、自分を襲い、犯行後に自殺した男はその女性の夫だったことを知る。周囲の人間たちからなぜか「嫌なことは思い出さない方がいい」としきりに忠告された慎介は事故の真相に疑問を持ち始める…。そして、店に復帰した雨の夜。どこか人間離れした美貌と強い視線を持つ喪服の女性・瑠璃子（高橋メアリージュン）が店に現われた。その時から慎介は深淵な迷宮に入り込む。

行方不明になる慎介の恋人・成美（松本まりか）、人生の師である江島（生瀬勝久）、店のママ・千都子（堀内敬子）らの、誰が嘘をつき、誰が誰を陥れようとしているのか？刑事・小塚（木村祐一）は事件の闇に突き動かされるように捜査を進めるが…。そして、慎介を大胆に誘惑し翻弄していく瑠璃子の本当の目的は？

Shinsuke trabaja como camarero y una noche es atacado por un extraño perdiendo parte de su memoria. No recuerda que hace un año y medio, estuvo involucrado en un accidente automovilístico que llevó a la muerte de Minae. Más tarde Shinsuke se entera de que su atacante era Reiji, el marido de la mujer que murió en el accidente automovilístico y el cual se suicidó después de atacar a Shinsuke. Una noche de lluvia, una misteriosa mujer Ruriko, vestida de negro, aparece frente a Shinsuke.
