Discuss Troy: Fall of a City

At least imho. I'm not one to get upset if someone doesn't like what I like, or likes what I don't. But some of the criticisms of this series were not founded on solid ground. For example, having a sword and sandals epic in (mostly) ordinary English might not be to everyones taste but it is a valid production choice and I thought it improved the flow of what is a very long and complicated saga.

It's by no means a classic, but well worth the time and better than a whole lot of stuff out there atm, and also better than the majority of sword and sandal dramas of the past.

I gotta say, when the winds were blowing and the gods said Agememnon's daughter had to die for them to be able to set sail, I would have told everyone to pack for home.

Sorry, the war is called off. Not killing my daughter.

And if my brother was getting impatient, telling me to hurry up and kill my daughter so we could set sail, I would have flattened his nose. Screw getting Helen back. If he didn't want her running off with someone else he should have kept her satisfied.
