Asuka Takanashi is a twenty-something woman who works for a megabank and holds various professional qualifications in finance. Despite her successful career, she is extremely eager to get married and become a stay-at-home housewife. One day, she suddenly gets damped by her boyfriend of five years. A história girar em torno de Takanashi Asuka, uma funcionária dedicada de um banco que sonha em casar e se tornar dona de casa. Ela parece estar no caminho certo, mas seu namorado de longa data rompe o relacionamento. Ela então conhece Nanami Ryu, um popular apresentador de TV que é realizado, bonito e age como um perfeito cavalheiro. Asuka e Ryu se dão bem e começam a namorar, mas a última coisa que Ryu deseja é se casar.
