Discuss The Mist

I know that they want to expand on the book for this series, however the book has an ending. So I am wondering if this is going to be a limited series, or are they going to expand on the original material to have enough content for more than two seasons. I have never read the book, so is there enough material for a long term series?

Wish they would tell us their plans for this series. If it isn't a 1 season series, I don't think I will get too involved with it. I have a feeling that they will cancel the series while having a cliff hanger, just like they did with Stephen King's series Golden Years.

I can't see this running more than one season, there's only so much mist and gore the viewers can take and eventually they will run out of townsfolk. However if they turn it into an investigative show they might have a season two, the gang heads out to find out what really caused the mist and gets into all sorts of trouble with the government's government.

Hopefully the cast will get killed very fast so there won't be an episode 3. ;-)

Lol, right? This needed a cancellation like yesterday.

This piece of garbage is coming to Netflix on August 25th. That's as fast as anything I've ever seen from another network. Probably a desperate attempt to get some viewers before it's officially cancelled. If this thing gets a 2nd season, I'll be stunned. I had hopes this would be decent. But it makes trash like UNDER THE DOME seem like Shakespeare.

I hope in the season finale, which I won't be watching unless by word of mouth I hear this happens, everyone in the church and the mall and all the town dies from The Mist.

The End.

I would guess it doesn't get picked up for season 2...but it is Spike TV- so there's a chance.
