Which if done well could be effective story telling, if they are going to jump from past to present without a viable story line, then it will get confusing. I also heard that they don't have the rights to the Joker, so they have to do workarounds for the character with Jerome and his twin brother. BTW I got this form a you tube video, so it should be taken with a grain of salt with what is reported for the final season.
