I like Teen Titans Go, but I can sympathize with the people who don't like it because it's not like the original (I only watched a few episodes of the original after seeing this). The original series built up complex characters and plotlines and this show is simple, comedy based and sometimes gross or outlandish. There is a lot of differences, but I still think people should give it a chance. I like the references to Batman, the Justice League, 80's pop culture, and although the main characters are simplified they still have alot in common with the original series characters (including being voiced by the same actors).

This is late, but if the original didn't exist, there wouldn't be a TTG. This is the same as the other cartoon revivals. The show was made for modern tastes I'd say. Teen Titans 2006 was one of the serious shows we got and of course fans are dismayed it got turned into comedy. As for me I've grown out of it and I must say I like the spinoff too.
