I always assumed they were... since they looked the same age, were in the same grade, etc... I always kinda thought of them as California Dreams's version of Brandon and Brenda Walsh, who were ALSO twins... & Sly was kinda like the Steve Sanders character, the best friend of Matt (like Steve was to Brandon) who was a sleazy schemer kinda like Steve... & Tiffany was kinda like the Kelly character, the blonde best friend of the female lead... & Tony was similar to David Silver cuz he was like the jiving, dancing DJ hip hop type... & with Samantha Woo taking over Jennys bedroom after she left, AND being the studious type who was valedictorian at graduation, shez kind of a cross between Valerie Malone and Andrea Zuckerman... & when Jake joined the show in the beginning of season 2, he became like the Dylan McKay character... & Jake's dynamic with Matt was like Brandon and Dylan... the badboy and the straight laced good guy forming a friendship...

but i digress lol.... anyway, WAS it ever officially confirmed one way or the other if they were twins??? I was just wondering
