As often occurs with British programming, I gave this show a try because of who was involved in it. In this case it is Suranne Jones, who I have followed since she exploded onto Coronation Street. It is not merely because she gives memorable performances in such shows as Scott and Bailey and Doctor Foster, but also because she chooses quality productions and hasn’t been in a turkey yet as far as I am aware.
