CLAMP School has the size and resources of a small city. Over 10,000 people—students and their families—live, work, and study within its self-sufficient campus. Any student with talent, regardless of wealth, is gladly accepted into this amazing facility. Covering kindergarten through graduate school, it is without equal anywhere in the world. Nokoru Imonoyama, Student Council President of the Elementary School Division, as well as the Treasurer, Akira Ijūin, and Secretary, Suō Takamura, are three of the most well-liked and idolized students in school. Nokoru decides that he and his two friends are going to start a detective service, solving any mystery or crime, great or small. But, as Nokoru is a bit theatrical and a shameless romantic, he declares that these detectives will focus on aiding mostly girls and women. With all the resources the school has to offer at their disposal, the CLAMP School Detectives are on a mission to help damsels in distress.

L'école Clamp est un gigantesque complexe organisé sous forme de campus dans lequel vivent près de 10 000 personnes. Cette petite ville regroupe plusieurs bâtiments dédiés à la poursuite de différentes études, du primaire à l'université. Nokoru, Suô et Akira, jeunes enfants surdoués, sont des figures emblématiques de l'école. Leur spécialité ? Venir en aide aux femmes en difficulté, quels que soient leur âge ou leur condition sociale. Ces justiciers en herbe auront maintes fois l'occasion de démontrer l'étendue de leurs talents, entre cuisine raffinée, démonstrations de force et savantes manipulations financières...

学業、スポーツ、芸術など、あらゆる方面の鬼才、天才が集まる巨大学園都市「CLAMP学園」。

そんな学園の初等部学生会の会長・妹之山残（いものやまのこる）、書記の鷹村蘇芳（たかむらすおう）、会計の伊集院玲（いじゅういんあきら）によって結成された「CLAMP学園探偵団」。世のすべての女性の力となるためにと、彼らはそれぞれの特技や個性を活かし、難事件から恋や友情の悩みまで、様々な問題を解決していく―。

原作者であるCLAMPの名前を冠した本作品の舞台であるCLAMP学園は、他のCLAMP作品にもたびたび登場。CLAMPのスピンオフの先駆けになった作品である。

거대 학원도시 CLAMP학원을 무대로 학생회장 노코루와 그를 보좌하는 스오, 아키라 3인방이 펼치는 좌충우돌 코미디라고 할 수 있는데, CLAMP 학원은 다른 작품들에도 등장하는 배경이 되고 있다. "20면상에게 부탁해!"라든지, "학원특경 듀칼리온"등이 그런 작품들이다. 후에 X에도 등장하는데 이때 노코루와 스오,아키라는 성장하여 등장한다. 츠바사 크로니클에도 셋이 모습을 드러낸다.

No Japão atual, existe uma cidade-escola chamada Academia CLAMP. Esta instituição de ensino abriga dez mil pessoas, dentre elas funcionários e alunos. A única regra para a aceitação de novos alunos é que este tenha alguma habilidade específica, pois cada aluno da Academia CLAMP é brilhante em algum aspecto. Dentre tais alunos, três recebem destaque pelo seu brilhantismo: Kaichou (líder do grupo, Presidente do Conselho Estudantil e filho do fundador da Academia), Suoh (herdeiro do influente Clã Takamura, um grupo renomado, descendente de ninjas, sendo que, normalmente, os membros deste Clã são eficientes “guarda costas” muito requisitados por famílias poderosas e políticos) e Akira (um rapazinho fofo, de personalidade brincalhona, sorridente, alegre e amigável; totalmente abobado e alheio às dificuldades, ele é um excelente cozinheiro e um amigo ímpar nas horas de adversidades). O enredo se baseia na formação da Academia de Detetives CLAMP, composto pelos três, onde a missão principal é basicamente levar conforto aos corações das damas aflitas.

Narra la historia de tres chicos que se dedican a ayudar a todas las chicas de su colegio, el Campus Clamp. La fundadora de este particular campus es la compañía Imonoyama, que lo ha diseñado para aceptar a todas aquellas personas que destaquen en algún campo en concreto. Nuestros protagonistas se encargan de resolver problemas, en especial Nokoru. Él es parte de un trío de niños que siempre logran conseguir la paz. Ellos van en primaria y son los más guapos y populares del campus.
