Mighty Max is an American animated action/sci-fi television series that aired from 1993 to 1994 to promote the British Mighty Max toys, an outgrowth of the Polly Pocket line, created by Bluebird Toys in 1992. It ran for two seasons, with a total of 40 episodes airing during the show's run.

Il cartone animato ci narra le vicende di Max, un ragazzino che una mattina riceve un pacco postale al cui interno trova una piccola statua a forma di uccello, scritta con dei geroglifici egizi, la cui traduzione corrisponde a: “Sei stato scelto per essere il portatore del berretto. Vai al mini-market ed aspetta un segnale, Possente Max“. Il ragazzino poi farà cadere inavvertitamente la statua, al cui interno si trova il fatidico berretto rosso, che svelerà presto i suoi poteri, ovvero la capacità di aprire portali spazio-temporali, teletrasportando Max in altri luoghi.
