Garrison's Gorillas is een ABC tv-serie die werd uitgezonden van 1967 tot 1968; er zijn in totaal 26 afleveringen van een uur geproduceerd. Het is geïnspireerd op de film The Dirty Dozen uit 1967, die een soortgelijk scenario bevatte waarin geallieerde gevangenen werden getraind voor militaire missies uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog.

Garrison's Gorillas werd aan het einde van het eerste seizoen geannuleerd en in 1968 vervangen door The Mod Squad. In de jaren tachtig wist het een cultstatus te verwerven in China.

Garrison's Gorillas is an ABC TV series broadcast from 1967 to 1968; a total of 26 hour-long episodes were produced. It was inspired by the 1967 film The Dirty Dozen, which featured a similar scenario of training Allied prisoners for World War II military missions.

Garrison's Gorillas was canceled at the close of its first season and replaced by The Mod Squad in 1968. It managed to gather a cult following in China in the 1980s.

Un grupo de presidiarios son reclutados para llevar a cabo misiones especiales durante la segunda guerra mundial bajo el mando del teniente Garrison. En este caso solamente cinco elementos a diferencia de la película que inspiró la serie.

Cada uno de los personajes tenían características y habilidades distintas que los complementaban para formar un equipo en el que se podía confiar en las misiones más peligrosas, donde el riesgo de ser capturados o asesinados era sumamente elevado.
