Find Netflix movies

I have been looking for a way to determine if a movie is a Netflix original. I tried looking over the production_company data but did not see any reference to Netflix. Is there a similar distribution_company metadata somewhere?

Unfortunately, no.
For TV you can use the network field but there isn't really an equivalent field on movies. Adding distribution company data would solve it. As would more rigid release data information. Not sure on a timeline for either of those but that is what would be needed. I've created a new ticket to think about this here.

The catalogs are different by country. It would be nice to have an option to add the countries, if the content is available. What about the others? Prime, Hulu... :)

Getting into OTT availability data is not on my radar. That's a whole separate thing.
