Key Field for updating an actor

I hope this is the right section! When I try and update an actor who doesn't give their D.O.B. no editing can be done, wouldn't it be better for the key field to be the IMDB ID, if it was the key field, it may prevent duplicates of the same person being created?

Hi stickman45,
We have added most of our data validation after the fact which has led to a lot of weird scenarios. This is one of them.
I've created a ticket for it and will see about looking at it in the next week or so.
