Hi,
Bug report
If I search for L'As des As, it returns thousands of movies whereas the page exists: http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/71524-l-as-des-as
So XBMC fails to retrieve data too for this movie.
edit: I added an alternate title asdesas and it works now on XBMC with searching L'As des As. But on the site only asdesas as search string will find the movie. So the problem is the original title contains keywords that have less than 3 letters. It's an issue in this case that should be solved.
Plus I couldn't set a release date for new index even when chosen in calendar and saved then close for this movie: 133827 released in 1964-09-04
or this one: 133845 released in 1960-11-04
edit: the date edition is fine now.
Keep in touch.

I made a small change on the website that should help with searches like this, and it looks like it helped:
http://www.themoviedb.org/search?query=L%27As+des+As#0
I haven't pushed this to the API yet so you won't see it there for a bit.

Yes it's the first proposition in search result now. Hope API will find it soon. ^
Thanks

I noticed another problem with french title in query.
for example this movie: 18760
if you search the french title L'Irrésistible, site will find nothing because of the L' part. If you search for Irrésistible, it will be ok.
It seems tmdb handles L'Irrésistible as a lonely word. Actually, in english it means The irresistible where L' means THE. Being more specific I will add that L' is a contracted article that comes before a word that begins with a vowel and they are stuck with each other. Original form is LE or LA.
Another and more serious problem is about the movie L'Île (8653). tmdb is unable to find it with or without the L'.
