Gaby Morlay (born Blanche Pauline Fumoleau; 8 June 1893 – 4 July 1964) was a film actress from France.

Morlay began acting in the era of silent films, and became known as co-star with Max Linder in his "Max" series. She starred in a series of "Gaby" films such as Gaby en auto (1917) and more than 20 other silent films. She moved easily into talking films in the early 1930s. She played Queen Victoria in the 1939 historical film Entente cordiale.

She had an affair with the government minister Max Bonnafous (1900–75) during World War II, and as a result, she was investigated for collaboration with the Nazis after the liberation of France. Later she married Bonnafous. Morlay continued to play important roles in the 1940s and 1950s.

She was an art lover and was a friend and admirer of the Italian painter Beretta Dimario who lived in Nice.

Gaby Morlay commence très jeune une carrière d'actrice au théâtre et au cinéma. Dans les années 1910, elle joue dans les courts-métrages muets de Max Linder et devient célèbre avec ce dernier, comme co-vedette de sa série Max. Elle joue dans la série de films Gaby, par exemple dans Gaby en auto (1917), d'où elle tient son pseudonyme de Gaby Morlay. Elle se produit aussi dans les pièces de Sacha Guitry. Elle devient un symbole de la femme libre des années folles, notamment en étant, en 1919, l'une des premières femmes à obtenir son brevet de pilote de dirigeable2,3,4,5,6,7.

Consacrée par ses prestations dans les pièces d'Henry Bernstein, elle devient dès 1930 l'une des vedettes les plus populaires du cinéma parlant. Elle fait pleurer la France entière dans Le Voile bleu et fait rire les spectateurs de l'après-guerre dans Lorsque l'enfant paraît.

Sous l'Occupation, elle est la maîtresse de Max Bonnafous, secrétaire d'État à l'Agriculture du maréchal Pétain. Elle finit par l'épouser à la mort de sa femme, en 1961.
