Biography

Kyan Zielinski is Canadian-American and 18 years old. He was born on December 12, 2004 in Seattle, Washington. Kyan now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada with his younger sister Mikayla, and parents Tobi and Christie. Kyan has loved performing, and visually telling stories, since he was a toddler. His love for creative storytelling grew as years passed, leading Kyan to writing, casting, directing, and producing plays for his elementary school over three consecutive years. Kyan debuted in his first professional musical production at the age of nine at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Downtown Seattle. He continued working in musicals, commercials, and modeling for several years, until booking his first lead role in a short film at the age of eleven, which sparked Kyan's love for film and television. He was then cast in two independent feature films. Most notably, Kyan portrayed Liam McKenna in an Amazon Prime Original Series, The Dangerous Book for Boys, in which he starred as a series regular. It was on this project that he had the privilege of working with the show's brilliant co-creator team, Bryan Cranston and Greg Mottola. Following that, Kyan appeared on the Disney+ series Diary of a Future President, led by Gina Rodriguez. Kyan has a profound appreciation for the film and television industry and aspires to be a Film Director. Kyan passed the CHSPE (California High School Proficiency Exam) in May 2021, so he now works as legal 18. In Kyan's spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, photography and videography, vlogging for his YouTube Channel (Kyan Zielinski Vlogs), going to the cinema, playing video games, and traveling.
