This story is a continuation of the one this director began with his 1993 film called Shuttlecock. Here, the son discusses his recently-passed father's colorful past with his family. It uses a lot of the original footage from that first film but it is a distinct film and it's plot stands on it's own. For that reason I was able to enjoy it without having seen the first film. 6.5/10
