Merlijn laat Lancelot du Lac door de tijd reizen om de jonge, toekomstige koning Arthur te beschermen. Het noodlot treft Lancelot en Arthur als zij door een fout, samen met de gemene Wolvencroft en zijn handlanger Blackpool, uitkomen in de toekomst. Hier moet Lancelot samenwerken met een schrijver en computerprogrammeur om Arthur te redden van de listige plannen van Wolvencroft.

Lancelot is sent through time by Merlin to protect young Arthur before he becomes King of Camelot, but by accident, they both end up in present day world along with the villains. Only technology can help them now.
