电影讲述铃木家族的父母抢劫银行后失踪，家里长时间不相往来的几个子女聚集在一起为父母举行“虚拟葬礼”以分配财产。

年邁的鈴木夫婦在鄉下的銀行犯下搶案後隨即消失，10年後他們的4名子女準備兩份空的棺材，舉辦一場象徵性的葬禮，並討論遺產分配等問題。4人中的大哥帶著妻小前來，而其他人也陸續現身，但即便儀式已開始，小弟卻並未出現。葬禮結束後門鈴響了，但出現在眾人眼前的不是小弟，而是一名態度輕浮、長相陌生的年輕人。究竟鈴木夫婦當年為何要搶劫？眼看窗外颱風即將登陸，室內的鈴木一家也陷入一場家庭風暴之中。
