Marco and Anita discover they are expecting a child. Finally a ray of light in Marco’s life after his heartbreak following the loss of Leo, his first born with his former wife Clara. Suddenly, however Perla, the new owner where the couple lived until the tragic accident, bursts into Marco’s and his ex-wife’s lives. The mysterious woman claims she keeps feeling a strange presence and hearing the voice of a child that is tormenting her and her son. Marco therefore finds himself torn between the ties of the past and an unwritten future.

Marco e Clara erano una coppia felice il giorno in cui si sono trasferiti con il loro figlioletto Leo in una bella casa veneziana con una caratteristica incantevole: una delle stanze si trasforma in una camera oscura che proietta sule pareti le immagini fluttuanti del Canal Grande. Purtroppo però quella casa si trasforma in un luogo davvero buio quando Leo muore a soli cinque anni. Passa il tempo e Marco, divorziato da Clara e trasferitosi in una nuova casa, ha ritrovato una misura di serenità con Anita, che aspetta un figlio da lui. Ma una misteriosa imprenditrice, Perla Gallo, avvicina l'uomo per dirgli che ha comprato la sua vecchia casa e che suo figlio avverte la presenza di Leo nella sua stanza. Da lì per Marco e Clara inizia la ricerca di una verità seppellita nella memoria.
