故事讲述了1994年夏天巴黎三位年轻女性的故事：尼娜，一位无忧无虑的年轻小偷；路易丝，一位昏迷五年后的幸存者；艾达，一位寻找自己起源的女性。每个人都会以自己的方式决定改变自己的生活。

De film vertelt wat er met een groep personages gebeurt, precies tussen 14 juli en 15 augustus 1994 in Parijs. Het vertelt het verhaal van drie jonge dames, Louise, Ninon en Ida, in de zomer van 1994, hun avonturen in de grote stad. Op straat, in de tuinen, in balzalen en in bibliotheken en zolders, verlaten tijdens de vakantie en de zomerhitte, bewandelen Louis, Ninon en Ida mysterieuze paden.

The film will tell what happens to a group of characters, precisely between July 14 and August 15, 1994 in Paris. It will tell the story of three young ladies, Louise, Ninon, Ida, in the summer of 1994, their adventures in the big city. On the streets, in the gardens, in ballrooms and in libraries and lofts, deserted at the time of holidays and summer heat, Louis, Ninon and Ida proceed on mysterious paths.

L'histoire de trois jeunes femmes à Paris au cours de l'été 1994 : Nina, une jeune voleuse insouciante, Louise, une rescapée après cinq ans de coma et Ida, une femme en quête de ses origines. Chacune à sa façon va décider de changer le cours de sa vie.

Der Film erzählt die Geschichte von drei Mädchen im Paris der Gegenwart. Eine sucht nach ihrer verlorenen Mutter, da sie weiß, dass sie adoptiert ist. Das andere ist aus dem Koma erwacht und braucht eine Liebesbeziehung an der Seite seines mysteriösen Vaters. Die dritte ist eine Gaunerin, die sich durch die Liebe rehabilitiert. Die Handlung wird von Liedern und Tanzeinlagen untermalt.

Per chi conosce questo regista quasi settantenne si tratta di un ritorno ai tempi dolci ed eroici delle storie anni Sessanta, della Nouvelle Vague. In questo senso Anna Karina è davvero un bel testimone. Nostalgia riprodotta senza l'ispirazione di un tempo che, davvero, ormai fu.
