Set in the heart of Christmas, the film tells the story of Sergio, a boy who could not finish the year in worse shape. It is New Year's Eve, the heaviest snowfall in thirty years is falling, all flights are canceled and he has to take the grapes (a tradition in Spain for New Year's Eve) with the other passengers in a roadside hotel. But that's not all, because he will have to manage to get on a night what he has failed in several months: to win back her ex girlfriend Bea before she goes to work in Germany. All with the help of a group of travelers who are the worst team in the world

Sergio und Bea sehen in ihrer Beziehung keine Zukunft mehr. Jedenfalls haben sie sich auf folgendes geeinigt: Sergio wird nach Madrid zurück kehren, Bea nach Deutschland fliegen, wo ihre Eltern ein Restaurant haben. Auf dem Flughafen von Bilbao in der Silvesternacht trennen sich ihre Wege. Bzw., hätten sich fast getrennt, wenn nicht der Schneesturm aufgezogen wäre. Nun sitzen alle im Hotel, schlagen die Zeit mit Partys tot, und irgendein Komiker, der sich für Sergios Freund hält, lässt nichts unversucht, um Bea und Sergio wieder zusammen zu bringen.

Sergio no podía acabar peor el 2010. Es Nochevieja, cae la mayor nevada en treinta años, todos los vuelos están cancelados y encima tiene que tomarse las uvas con el resto de los pasajeros en un hotel de carretera. Pero eso no es lo peor. Sergio tendrá que ingeniárselas para conseguir en una sola noche lo que no ha conseguido en varios meses: recuperar a su ex-novia Bea antes de que se vaya a trabajar a Alemania, y para ello contará con la ayuda de un grupo de viajeros bastante pintoresco: un estrafalario amigo de la infancia que quiere ser humorista, un separado que viene cabreado de Punta Cana y un empleado del hotel que no tiene con quien celebrar la Nochevieja.
