Super spoilers below:
When Mae dies by ingesting drugs and jumping off building. When did this happen? We see it in the dirty cops memories however when the hero meets the dirty cop in real time he's with Mae. A chase ensues and he captures the ex cop. The cop never left the hero after this. When did she jump?

Mae wasn't with the dirty cop when the hero meets him. He's actually with another girl pretending to be Mae. Mae was already dead by then as the dirty cop was having the girl reenact Mae's final speech before she killed herself.
