Two drifters on the edge of the underworld, Tae-sik and Soo-eun, spend a night together that will change both of their lives forever.

재활용 수거 일을 하며 삶을 버텨내려 하지만 탈출구가 보이지 않는 ‘태식’. 네일 아티스트를 꿈꾸지만, 노래방 도우미로 살아가는 ‘수은’. 우연히 하룻밤을 보내게 된 둘은 이내 필연적인 비극과 마주한다. 과연 그들은 한 번 들어가면 나올 수 없는 붉은 사막에서 안녕할 수 있을까?
