Stan and Ollie have set up their own electrical appliance store but, unfortunately for them, the grocery right next door is run by the man and wife whom they encountered in "Them Thar Hills" (1935). Stan and Ollie go and visit to offer the hand of friendship, but the grocer again becomes convinced that Ollie and his wife are fooling around.

Laurel et Hardy viennent d'ouvrir un magasin d'appareils électriques et viennent saluer leur nouveau voisin, monsieur Hall, un crémier. Mais celui-ci se souvient d'avoir eu affaire à eux et les chasse sans ménagement. Les deux hommes ne tardent pas à accumuler les maladresses. Hardy se retrouve, malgré lui, dans une situation compromettante avec madame Hall. Ce qui déclenche évidemment l'ire de son époux.

Stan & Ollie haben ihre eigene elektrische Reparaturwerkstätte eingerichtet. Leider wird das Lebensmittelgeschäft gegenüber vom Mann und der Frau betrieben, denen sie in Them Thar Hills (1935) begegnet sind. Stan & Ollie gehen sie besuchen um ihnen ihre Freundschaft anzubieten. Aber der Krämer ist überzeugt, dass Ollie seine Frau zu verführen versucht.

Stanlio e Ollio aprono un negozio di elettronica a fianco alla drogheria del sig. Hall. Quest'ultimo il quale si era già scontrato in una precedente circostanza con la coppia (pare faccia riferimento a Vita in campagna), pensa che Ollio stia facendo delle avances a sua moglie (Mae Busch) che lo ha aiutato a scendere da una finestra, dopo un incidente con l'inetto Stanlio. Così Hall lo minaccia di linciarlo se egli si fosse ripermesso di rivolgere la parola alla sua signora. Ollio è tremendamente avvilito perché il suo onore da venditore è stato appena infangato e quando lui e Stanlio vanno ad esigere le scuse di Hall nella drogheria, un ladro li svaligia pian piano il negozio.

Stan y Ollie han abierto su propia tienda de electrodomésticos pero, por desgracia para ellos, la tienda de comestibles de al lado está a cargo del hombre y la mujer que conocieron en "Them Thar Hills" (1935). Stan y Ollie van de visita para ofrecerle la mano de la amistad, pero el tendero nuevamente se convence de que Ollie y su esposa están bromeando.
