Discuss The Night Eats the World

I'm all for open ended endings up for interpretations...but IMO that wasn't an ending AT ALL! WTH?! Took away a star based on that.

I really liked the ending, my take was that after spending however long trapped in self imposed solitary confinement, he decided to take a risk and escape. He choose living instead of staying put and dying, I thought it was a hopeful ending and thought it added nicely to a well made film.

I thought 'The Truman Show' did that kind of ending WAYYY better! Even though it ended similarly to how YOU describe, it FELT like an ending.

Eh, I liked it, but yes Truman Show did do it better. I mainly liked that it was a relatively quiet zombie film for a change
