I like movies that don't tell us everything and let us guess, but not when there's no explanation and they just throw it in anyway.

They made it clear Izon company had created the cube and that all characters are somehow related to them. But first it doesn't explain why some of them got in there. Why would they take a retired employee, or a man that was looking for a missing person that's their employee too?

And being Izon a big weapons manufacturer, it makes easy to imply they had created the hypercube and put ppl there to research this quantum 4D. But how'd they create it? And why'd they make a 3D cube maze as "phase 1", if they were interested on researching quantum and 4D?
