Giacomo, a boy from Puglia, leaves immediately after the war for the United States of America, where, after a few years, he will be known by the name of "James". The young man, however, enters the gang scene. Following a fight, he will be put back on the right path by the former boxer, now carpenter, Frank!

Giacomo, un ragazzino pugliese, parte nell'immediato dopoguerra per gli Stati Uniti d'America, dove, dopo qualche anno, sarà conosciuto col nome "James". Il giovane, però, entra nel giro delle gang. In seguito ad una rissa, verrà rimesso sulla "buona strada" dall'ex pugile, ora falegname, Frank.
