I believe the reason it is classified here as a movie, is that it was originally shown at a film festival (which is considered a theatrical release). It was screened at the Lisbon International Horror Film Festival on September 29, 2010, a month before its TV airing on October 25, 2010. I could be wrong but...?

Although I'm not an expert on the 'arcane' rules here at TMDB, I doubt if they will change it?
