Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog werd een Amerikaanse soldaat naar Noorwegen gestuurd om te helpen bij de ontsnapping van een wetenschapper die aan de atoombom voor de Duitsers werkte. Voordat ze kunnen ontsnappen, worden ze gevangengenomen en naar een krijgsgevangenenkamp in een bergkasteel gestuurd. Cook moet samen met de wetenschapper een manier vinden om te ontsnappen voordat de Gestapo de ware identiteit van de Noor ontdekt en de andere gevangenen overtuigt om een tweepersoonszweefvliegtuig te bouwen waarin ze willen ontsnappen. |

Overview |
During WWII an American soldier sent to Norway to help with the escape of a scientist working on the atomic bomb for the Germans. Before they can escape they are captured and sent to a POW prison camp in an alpine castle. Cook must find a way to escape with the scientist before the Gestapo discover the Norwegian's true identity and convinces the other prisoners to build a two person glider in which they plan to escape. |

O.S. L'agent major Cook est envoyé en Europe occupée pour amener Halden Brevik, un scientifique norvégien travaillant sur la bombe atomique, aux Alliés. Les deux hommes sont capturés mais confondus avec des prisonniers de guerre aviateurs alliés évadés et sont envoyés à la "preuve de l'évasion" du château de Beckstadt pour prisonniers de guerre. Le plan d'évasion de Cook est révélé, tout en préservant la véritable identité du scientifique vis-à-vis des Allemands et de ses compagnons prisonniers. |
