Discuss Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

Frankly this movie had all the problems the other movie had. Bad Wooden Dialog and Nonsensical Script. The only thing this movie has going for it was more action scenes. Not only did the Prequels turn Darth Vader into a whinny little Bitch. But it was also a horrible Origin Story for Anakin Skywalker. I could only imagine what it would have been like Darth told Luke why he join the Dark Side

Luke : Why did turn the dark side anyways. Vader: Well i was having dreams your mom would die. So i meet Palpatine and he said if i join the Dark side. He would save your mother. Luke: Why did you think my mom was going to die. Just because you had a dream. Vader: I didn't think of that at the time. Anyways i killed a bunch of kids. Luke: You killed bunch of kids, WTF man. Vader: Settle down, well after that i got into a fight with Obi Wan got my limb cut off and the emperor fix me up. Luke: So did Palpatine save my mother. Vader: No Luke: So why the F##k did you stay with him then. Vader: I dont know. Luke: Wow man, I know you were evil. But i didn't know you are a F##k moron. So you just stayed to be the Emperor 's Bitch. Vader: Pretty Much.

I think people like it when a movie "goes dark" and with Lucas's Star Wars prequels none of the previous films had any weight.

Also, the entire premise of the prequels was poor, so the summary you gave would naturally sound weak as well. Starting off the first film with a boring, complex title crawl and a trade war always felt like the lamest possible way for the Emperor to stage a coup. It was cinematic Nyquil. There were so many excellent ideas tossed out in the Star Wars books written by multiple authors that I was appalled at how limited Lucas's vision was. For me, that was the tragedy of the prequels; a stunning lack of vision and complexity. Anakin's story never felt realistic, we never identified with his struggle, and the contortions Lucas went through involving hopelessly ignorant behavior by everyone involved ultimately robbed Anakin of any compelling motivation.

But it was also a horrible Origin Story for Anakin Skywalker. I could only imagine what it would have been like Darth told Luke why he join the Dark Side

I certainly agree with that - exactly the same problem they now have with Kylo Ren, no real credible storyline for why these chaps have gone down the path to darkness.

Stands in stark contrast to Koba, in the rebooted POTA's films, were his route to becoming the prime villain in Dawn was really well done and seemed a sad, "realistic" possibility to the viewer...

Meh, I think perhaps Anakin's path to the darkside was a bit rushed and could have been fleshed out a bit better but it was conceivable that he would betray the order to save Padme. What was a bit ridiculous was the scene with him killing the children. That was both unnecessary for him to do or show. Not sure WTF Lucas was thinking there but that is a good example where he needed a non yes-man to say "Whoa dude, WTF?!" . I think the overall story of the trilogy has good bones but just needed some people to speak up and say "No that aint no good " here and there and for the love of the gods a dialogue writer.

No idea. In my opinion, it's the worst of the prequels.
