Discuss Flowers in the Attic

He was pretty much an adult or young adult fully capable of defending the rest against a old grandmother & a butler. Just cant stand by and act like a little kid when your siblings are being put through all that

Yeah, I disliked the older brother a lot. He was weak, ineffectual, and fairly cowardly, leaving his sister to do all the heavy lifting.

Actually, I found all the characters in all the books to be creepy and deeply disturbing. I still have not been able to analyze why I can't get farther than the second book in the series, yet I can't stop picking them up and trying again.

I was also impressed that they found four - FOUR - young actors who were both beautiful and creepy.

Because it's a messed up family. Corrine's conception alone is so dark and depressing. Its hard to swallow it all

Huh? Why is it dark? I don't want to watch the movie. Can you please tell me?

It was in the book that was set as a prequel to the film. Her father murdered his own father, raped his stepmother, kept her hidden away in a hidden room and let his wife abuse her until she was born. Annette was her name and she already had baby Christopher before the rape, was tossed out on the streets with her son after the birth until she met a nice doctor who took her in.

Thanks! :-)
