Discuss Reveille with Beverly

Who wouldn't go to war for that? I think she has got to be one of the most entertaining dancers of her era. Love her.

Added it to my watchlist! Just it after watching a clip of Duke Ellington from the film. Love me some of that jazz. :)

I don't recall ever having seen (though probably have, decades ago) this movie, but have always been a fan of Ann Miller. She was not only a beauty, very talented, entertaining, and delightful, but seemed like a real sweetheart.

Don, have you ever listened to the weekly (Sat. nights, 3 hrs.) Hot Jazz Saturday Night https://wamu.org/show/hot-jazz-saturday-night/ show broadcast? It's wonderful, plus you can learn a lot of interesting information. I listen to it weeks that I have time (if I don't forget). The most recent broadcast can be replayed anytime during the 7 days that immediately follow its station WAMU FM radio airing. Era and the sort of jazz varies from week to week; it sometimes goes back even as far as to like around 1910! I bet you'd love it.

Perhaps we should take it upon ourselves to watch it in the near future, then, gentplant. :)

Ohhh, that is very interesting!! Thank you kindly for sharing it with me and with a little personal anecdote attached to it. I do so love this site, it reminds me of the old days of the internet. :) Too bad tmdb does not support pms! Thank you once more, and have a most lovely weekend. :)
