Eva Vázquez de Reoyo is a film director from Spain. Her mother is a painter and her father a puppeter. She studied film direction at the LCP in London and traditional animation at Bornemouth Art College. Her graduation work was awarded at numerous festivals and screened at Lincoln Center in New York. Her short film Love Monster has been selected by various national and international festivals. Fire in the Basement, financed by PROCINE, is premiered in UK at Raindance, wins among other prices best Mexican short at Giff.
