They are both about southern California cops. The ME is that I swore Gerald S. O'Loughlin (who played the Lt. on this TV show) also played George Kennedy's police superior in the film 'Earthquake' (O'Loughlin in fact did not). But I never thought Kate Jackson was Victoria Principal or Ava Gardner or Miss. Bujold. : )

This is similar to how I accused some people of mistaking the kids in 'Dracula AD 1972' for the youngsters in 'To sir with love' ( see my postings).
