Worst music ever on the show with the exception of Violet “singing”
But seriously, why all this time on a character who has been on a 61 year old show for comparatively a minute?
What we needed was a Q montage since we actually DO have decades of footage that would be delightful to see again. It was after all the first Q wedding in eons.
But no, we get a Greys Anatomy rip off tear jerker IF we even knew this guy for a moment.
That is all.

Gregory has been on for a few years and has been one of the few genuinely nice characters. I’m assuming he passed away in his sleep, I see no other reason for the montage. If he hasn’t passed then I’ll be confused about the purpose of the montage.
Nathan wasn’t on that long and yet he got the most elaborate funeral scene I’ve seen in GH. II’m not sure why Gregory’s scene bothered you so much if indeed that was his death scene.

Timing.
They just had a several episode wedding for the first time in years. They choose to end that run of episodes with this melodrama? No. Wait, even if only for a couple of episodes. Gloria Monty would never have ruined the build up with something so dull.
Gregory and his story is a good way of rooting out who liked the crazy 80s on this show vs the very melodramatic 90s. Give me back the Ice Princess. This is why I prefer Days. They never take themselves too seriously.

It was not terrible, and I like Gregory and Chase as the nice guys on the show, but I always go back to the shit way Stu Damon exited the show and never got an episode on Alan Q at his death. Yet Piffy- the human asteroid who was a terrible character and a nasty one, got treated like royalty.
I don't think Greg is dead, but if so, it's no great loss as they wasted Harrison, who is a good actor.

Exactly. Decades long performers get zip but new guy dies and trot out the montage.

Who's Nathan? I remember not a single thing from his funeral. Not even Dr. O's reaction.

Nathan was Maxie’s husband and Liesl’s son. He was a PC police officer and received an officer’s funeral replete with a bagpipe.
AJ Quartermaine was my favorite Q death scene. He saw Edward and Lila at the top of the stairs, engulfed in light, and went to meet them. I’m glad at least the writers gave him that.
I thought Gregory’s death scene was handled well. This week is the anniversary of both my mom’s death and the death of someone who was like a father to me for 30 years. I had a good cathartic cry.

They did a good makeup job on Harrison as he actually looked pale and flush. If he had died when they said, though, rigor mortis would have likely set in.

I thought that was strange too since they had Alexis

Didn't Alexis & Gregory date for a while?
