Well for one Maurice Benard (Sonny) has been in over 2750 episodes but the page says 802. Another is Cynthia Watros has only been in about 238 episodes but the page says 2794!

I have gone to the edit page but can't figure out how to change the episode numbers.

You won't be able to get the exact numbers with the series regular system. But a good first step would be to remove Cynthia Watros from every season she didn't appear in.

But why are the numbers so wrong? Like I said in my original post, I would say that more than half of them are wrong.

Well, I mean, i's pretty obvious that no one cared to add the General Hospital credits. And adding the main cast as regular means they're credited for every single episode of the season, so the numbers are always higher that they should be.
