We are never shown a "monster." I like the fact that things are left up to our imagination with no cheesiness.

I was home sick today with bronchitis, so I watched the movie because I was bored. It felt like I was watching a M Night Shymalam film called “The Happening “. What a waste. Do not waste your time with this flick. Grrrrrrrrr! And I normally enjoy Sandra Bullock’s work. (The Net-just wow!)

Just watched it last night. Loved it. I remember reading somewhere that a critic said "This is what The Happening should have been," and it's so true.
