Has anyone watched this on NetFlix? I want those two hours and four minutes back in my life. I re-subscribed to NetFlix so I could watch the British Baking Show to speak intelligently to my 3 1/2 year old niece, who is a big fan.

I was home sick today with bronchitis, so I watched the movie because I was bored. It felt like I was watching a M Night Shymalam film called “The Happening “. What a waste. Do not waste your time with this flick. Grrrrrrrrr! And I normally enjoy Sandra Bullock’s work. (The Net-just wow!)

That is all for now.

It's on queue, and I'm eager to see it. I also have to finally get around to watching The Ritual, Raw, and Cargo. It's hard zipping around Youtube or the internet and not having everything spoiled for you.

Hope you're feeling better, mi amico!

Was I the only one thinking Anna had taken the Bird Box challenge when she was blindfolded?

I loved it. It was very suspenseful, and I wasn't bored during any of it (unlike watching GH). To each their own!

Okay Wisegal, I hope this doesn't get my pasta and vino invite rescinded but I really enjoyed it. It was super suspenseful and I love Sandra Bullock and the guy opposite her? OMG so happy I wasn't blindfolded LOL.

Oh, Briabba! My door is always open! Maybe it was the antibiotics and cough medication, and I couldn’t focus well. However it did kind of remind me of The Happening. Perhaps I need to watch it again when I’m feeling better.

I'm a huge fan of The Americans and Man in the High Castle. As with Bird Box those are shows that cannot be multitasked with. I have to put down the electronic distractions and focus on the show because a huge amount is reliant upon visuals and not dialogue.

Yay! I'm happy I didn't burn a bridge there. I had pesto yesterday but suspect it pales.....

Thanks buddy! I’m sure a few days more of rest and medication I’ll be back to my old self!

Me too! Those are probably my two favorites, and yes they must be watched with intense focus.

You could never burn a bridge! You are always so positive and kind!

I love Pesto! In the summer, when my terrace is overwhelmed by Basil, I put it on everything! Now I’m craving a fresh mozzarella, prosciutto and pesto panini!

I might be a fan of The Man in The High Castle if they had made the slightest effort to follow the book by Philip K Dick. But just using his title and then telling a completely unrelated story is annoying, to say the least. I'm not sure I can think of an author who has been used more poorly by Hollywood than Philip K Dick, not even Stephen King or Dean Koontz, Hollywood loves to splash 'Based on ____ by Philip K Dick' across the screen, but not one of the productions that have allegedly been 'based on' his work bears any resemblance to his actual work. Not Blade Runner (which uses character names, but none of the plot of 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?'), not Total Recall (allegedly based on "We Can Remember it For You Wholesale") not Minority Report (allegedly based on "The Minority Report"), and certainly not "The Man in the High Castle"). Hollywood likes his name, but not his plots.

I've almost always felt original books are better than the films/shows that follow. And Auto is correct, often times they simply use the author's name to draw you in and it's like whoa! This is nothing at all like the book. I find I'm usually the happiest when I watch the filmed version and THEN read the book. Doing the reverse is highly disappointing.

Not sure who all has Monday off but I hope you all enjoy the extra long weekend!

Bird Box has been highly recommended to me by friends, but I'm a little skeptical. Sandra Bullock, as likable as she is, has a habit of choosing duds. Please don't anyone mention her winning an Oscar for The Blind Side. When I saw wisegal's initial post, I thought, "Oh, good, I'm justified in not watching this." However, as has been recommended, wisegal should try watching it again when she feels better. I've initially hated things in the past when I'm stressed or not feeling well and then I try again and LOVE it.

If you're a fan of the suspense thriller genre, you'll love if. If you're not, you won't.

I love suspense thrillers. I'll get around to watching it, but if I don't like it, I'm going to come on here and complain LOUDLY.

If you start watching it and can't get into it, turn it off. It's that simple.

So do you all know what the monster is? I do but no spoiler from me.
