What is your new job?

I've done medical transcription/editing for the last 29 years. My employer of the last 10 years has had 3 massive layoffs in the last 6 months and I was in the last cut. The good news is that I found a new job in the same field within 2 weeks. The so-so news is that I was hoping to laze about for a few weeks, eating bon-bons and catching up with my DVR accumulation.

Congrats on finding something so quickly. While the idea of lazing about eating bon-bons may be appealing, the reality of joblessness is not. 😬 I have survived 3 rounds of lay-offs at my law firm and we're on solid ground now
