There is no chemistry of any type between them, and also, she is just too old for him. Does every single male in PC have to fall in love with Anna? I don't get it.
I don't like Finn with Alexis either, except as friends who attend 12 step programs together.

I do like their comical sex scenes...regardless of how they are mostly unrealistic. But I'm entertained by them.
Surprise surprise... Dr. Hamilton Finn has been yet another failed character played by Easton. I like the actor too, but something is just off with him on this show. Ironically I was starting to accept him as Silas when they up and murdered the character for essentially no reason. And the pairing with Anna is just gross, imo.
I liked him with Hayden and when he was battling his addiction problem. I also like him with Roxie, his bearded dragon. Now there doesn't seem to be much for him to do.
I honestly can't bear this couple. By far one of the worst pairings in a while.
I hate hatehate any forced pairing. And this one bothers me for additional reasons:
WHY do any chem-tests at all if you're going to go with one there was no "chem" with?
He tested well with several people when he came back this time. Interesting pairings. Tracy and Finn = great chemistry. Carly and Finn = great chemistry (though, aside from Sonny, Carly has amazing chemistry with everyone I've ever seen her - LW - paired with.). I feel like there was a third person we were speculating about his chem-test with, but I can't recall who it was, now.
I liked Hayden, but I didn't really like her with Finn.
I always liked (Easton) with Sam, but it doesn't make sense anymore, or at least the timing doesn't make sense right now. It might be part of the reason his pairing with Alexis bothered me. It would be kind of like seeing Alexis with Jason or Drew. Ew.
I'd like to add one more time, for the record, how much I have hated the renewed Sonny & Carly pairing. I loved them as friends, and Carly was my favorite character on the show, because I just think LW rocks every scene. She was magic with Todd/Franco, and she was also sizzling with Hot Johnny. And when they forced her back with Sonny for no reason, it literally made me nauseated. I had to look away during their love scenes. (In contrast, I was positively RIVETED during her love scenes with Todd/Franco.) Ever since they paired her back with Sonny, I have completely lost interest in her.
Hrm. Speaking of RH. Come to think of it, he has had great chemistry with pretty much everyone they've paired him with too. I actually think he has less with Elizabeth than with others, though I have come to like them together. Probably because it's the first time since I started watching (roughly 2011) where the guy she was with/going after didn't belong to someone else... in fact, probably another reason I like them together now is because he makes her likable. She was one of my least favorite characters before, and now I don't really have any strong feelings about her either way.
Back to the topic at-hand: I don't care for Anna, but my least favorite thing about her is how they keep forcing her pairings on us. I LOVED Luke with Tracy, and then suddenly he was all about "Slim." I like Anna as Robin's mother, a lot as Emma's grandmother, pretty well as someone's friend, and I can take or leave her as agent. But I'm tired of the forced pairings.
Sorry for all the rambling. My coffee just kicked in! Wahoo! Have a great day!
While I agree that this couple does not work. I can't believe anyone would say that Anna is too old for him. I've said it before and I guess I have to say it again.....DOUBLE STANDARD. There seems to be no issue when the guy is older, but holy shit people can't handle the woman being older. WTF?
I also find this funny because I'm gay and we don't have this issue (kind of like the idea that the man has to be taller than the woman) but I still find it perplexing for the rest of y'all!
I liked him with Hayden and when he was battling his addiction problem. I also like him with Roxie, his bearded dragon. Now there doesn't seem to be much for him to do.
Good point. He had his best chemistry with Roxy. Not sure how that would work on a soap. Could be controversial.
No, I don't have a double standard. I would hate to see Sonny paired with Nelle, or Griffin paired with Kiki. Also, there was quite a bit of gagging going on when it was thought that Brenda might have seduced a young and drunk Michael. I know that age differences can work in real life, but it's not always appealing to watch in a soap, for me at least.
I just Googled the ages of Easton and Hughes and am shocked to see there is only a seven year age difference between them. I thought he was in his late 40's and she in her early to mid 60's. So I guess they are not that far apart in age--my bad. Still, I see zero chemistry between them. And my point still stands that almost every male in PC has fallen in love with Anna, and I don't get it.

With all due respect to Finola Hughes, I find it very unlikely that she was 23 in "Staying Alive" and only 25 when she first appeared on GH as the mother of a 6 year old. In any case, Anna might be older than Finola's age. They have stated Peter's birth year as 1976 and Anna was already establishing herself as an up-and-coming agent at the time, likely in her early-mid 20s (remember her time with Valentin would have been before Peter was born). That would make her well into her 60s now. And Finn looks 45 to me.
I'm no big fan of older man-younger woman either and think it's a little creepy (if 15+ years). And while I'm no expert on the social dating habits of gay men, I can say that in all my years of working in the theater most gay men I knew over 40 pined for twinks in their 20s. It's not just a hetero phenom.

She's not that much older anyway, he is 50, she is 58, sure, an 8-year difference would be a big deal if she was 18 and he was 10, but the difference between 50 and 58 (or 84 and 92) is not that big a deal.
I've wasted many a preachment on lonely old gay guys who think they are 'catches' that young hairless wonders would want. It's a tossup as to who the most vain and shallow group of people on the planet are- gay males or teenaged girls.

I FF anyone Finn is with including when he was with Hayden. Before then when he was with Sam as Silas ... when "he" was with Natalie on OLTL
And the thing is, I like the actor. I don't know why I find all his romances boring and dull.
